WEM is a platform created with the aim of supporting contemporary artists in their journey, through a circular vision of the art market.
Founded in 2021 by Marco Bracaglia, it was born from his entrepreneurial spirit, his passion for contemporary art, and the desire to expand its fruition. How? Through innovative purchasing formulas that revolutionize the dynamics of collecting by expanding its boundaries.
Our philosophy is based on the link between art and life: a work of art must be enjoyed to be alive, to really exist. Believing in the power of art and its social and cultural role, WEM’s core mission is to continue to trigger virtuous circuits to invest in the artists in whom we believe and to create increasingly ambitious exhibitions in museums and international cultural institutions.
Guido Berta, Giovanni Magistris and Maurizio Wetzel, founded the Magistris & Wetzel in Ornavasso (VB) which over the years has become a leading company in the cold metal working.
Marco Bracaglia acquired M&W and turned it around in 2011 revolutionizing the company and production dynamics
M&W begins to support at production level some artists in the realization of steel works.
M&W celebrates its 70th anniversary by creating WEM –Empowering Art Platform to continue to promote and spread contemporary art
